I'm always marvelled at how many wonderfully talented individuals walk on the tatami of BJJ clubs, academies and gyms all over the world. Fighters care what they wear as it becomes an expression of them, an extension of their character.
Look, for instance, at the contrast between the crazy stylings of Mike Fowler and how it contrasts with the reserved traditional aura surrounding Rickson or Rorion Gracie.
I've always been one for individual expression and after long conversations with my friend Seymour, of the Meerkatsu fame, we decided to run a competition. An Arts Competition: Design your dream gi.
But us being us- nutters, in a word!- we decided to go frikking FULL OUT! So I present to you:
THE CRAZY-ASS DESIGN YOUR DREAM GI COMPETITION.
