such a simple concept. It should be good with a sweep, armbar or even a choke. It's basically the pinot noir of jiu jitsu. It makes everything better.

Liam...I LOVE...stuff like this. Drilling's great for muscle memory for me, but I NEED conceptual stuff. I also love the armbar escape...50% of the times I get submitted are that armbar.

Megan it makes me very happy to hear you like this stuff. Nic's material has been nothing short of awesome. Concepts are what makes the techniques work more efficiently.

On a side note, I always say about self-defence: if you think you need to perfect self defence techniques, chances are you need to move house!

The same applies to armbar defence. They are great to learn but it's always better to work on keeping the elbows glued to your ribs.
