Regarding the questions and emails, it's a wonderful thing. I get emails from places as far as St. Lucia, the Philippines and Egypt!

I must say there is alot of good skill/lnowledge-sharing around on the net, especially with stuff on YouTube and what not but not enough experience sharing. That's why I love blogs like Meerkatsu, Georgette's, John Will...etc.

Cheers.Liam H Wandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15592644859626736304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3059413891102112937.post-51970199599331683912009-12-17T06:00:04.417+00:002009-12-17T06:00:04.417+00:00Hey Liam, cool blog! So far I really enjoy what I've read on your blog mate, but I have a question for you? Do you get many emails and questions on various topics? I am new to bloggin and reading blogs but I recently started my own BJJ blog too. I have been inundated with emails and questions and am kind of in shock, I never realised just how badly we need more great BJJ blogs to share knowledge, experiences and skills! Anyway I look forward to checking in with you regularly.
Kind Regards
FelipeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3059413891102112937.post-584518126208528612009-04-08T09:26:00.000+01:002009-04-08T09:26:00.000+01:00Thanks for the kind words Vince. On a conscious level, I understand that you can't train hard and long but you know what the human mind is like :)

I'm telling you as soon as I get an evening off I'm thinking "oh I bet I can squeeze in a session/family visit/work...etc.)” but it doesn't work like that because you are burning the candle at both ends.

Judo is hardcore which tells me you definitely get what I am saying! Cheers! /LiamLiam H Wandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15592644859626736304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3059413891102112937.post-44325153887039028572009-04-08T01:59:00.000+01:002009-04-08T01:59:00.000+01:00Liam Thank you. A brilliant tip I picked up years ago was :-

"You can train hard ...and you can train long ...but you can't train hard and long"

And so your practical suggestions for me as a judo player are really a breathe of fresh air.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience Liam.
